The Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers (ASSC) is excited to announce the launch of the second 2024 ASSC Barometer Survey, designed to gather valuable insights from self-catering operators across Scotland. This important survey offers businesses in the sector the opportunity to share their experiences, challenges, and views on the current landscape. By participating, you’ll help shape the future of self-catering in Scotland and ensure that the sector’s voice is heard at a critical time. We encourage all self-caterers to take part and contribute to this essential initiative.
By participating, you’ll help the ASSC and key stakeholders – including the Scottish Tourism Alliance, VisitScotland, and the Scottish Government – gain a deeper understanding of booking trends, anticipate emerging developments, and adapt to shifting consumer behaviours.
This survey also provides a platform to voice your perspectives on pressing challenges and opportunities for the sector, particularly in light of recent changes, such as the abolition of the Furnished Holiday Let Regime, Short-Term Let Regulations and the Visitor Levy. Your input will help us navigate these changes and strengthen the sector for the future.
