Iain is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience in the UK and Australia, having worked at a leading ‘Big 4’ accounting firm, specialising in risk management and governance within the property, retail, and construction sectors. After leaving professional practice, Iain launched several successful businesses across retail, property, and consulting. In addition, he owns and operates a portfolio of self-catering properties.
More recently, Iain has been actively involved in addressing legal challenges related to short-term let regulations. He worked closely with the Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers (ASSC) before joining its Board in 2023.
