ASSC Chief Executive, Fiona Campbell has been awarded ‘Executive Director of the Year 2024’ by the Association of Association Executives
We are delighted to share that ASSC Chief Executive Fiona Campbell has been awarded ‘Executive Director of the Year 2024‘ by the Association of Association Executives!
This category recognises leadership, expertise and innovation at the most senior level in an Association. The nominee should have obtained outstanding achievements while demonstrating the qualities of a true leader, a visionary, an innovator and with know-how in the sector.
The judges said: “A clearly capable and inclusive leader who has done so much to boost the integrity, sustainability and profile of Scottish hospitality and the self-catering sector. Fiona played a key role in lobbying for COVID-19 financial support for self-catering businesses. She grew ASSC membership from 430 to over 1,700 members, making it a key player in Scotland’s tourism industry.”
