ASSC Talks
Since 1st September 2020 (due to Covid-19) we have organised a series of topical and successful ASSC Talks, attended by thousands of ASSC members and non-members and which will continue on a regular basis as a lasting legacy from the pandemic.

About ASSC Talks
- Attendance at the ASSC Talks is free to ASSC members as a way of continuing to add value to the already cost-effective membership. We deliver a wide range of Talks which are topical and relevant
- Attendance for Non-ASSC members is £25 including VAT per Talk (* see below)
- We use the Eventbrite ticket system for all our Talks (see our Upcoming Talks page for individual links)
- Bookings are required in advance as the option to book will close at the time the Talk commences. Please note: you will require to book separately onto each of the Talks
- You will receive a confirmation directly from Eventbrite (if you do not receive confirmation into your inbox – please check your junk and spam mail boxes and ensure you have not blocked communications from Eventbrite. You will also receive regular reminders about each Talk. Please copy / paste the Talk Zoom link into your own calendar for ease of access on the day
- ASSC Talks are virtual via ZOOM
- ASSC Talks are recorded and are available to all ASSC members on the Members’ Page (log in required)
- Each Talk is one-hour in duration and usually based around 1 or 2 presentations followed by a Questions & Answer session open to all participants to enter questions via the “Chat” or “Q&A” option during the session, however, the format may vary from time to time

As our members and their views are key to everything we do, we warmly welcome any suggestions members have we will actively consider them as the basis for any future talks.
We also invite relevant key industry leaders and vital supply chain influencers to share their expertise and knowledge in order to assist members of the vital £723million Scottish self-catering sector in the months ahead.
All Talks will be recorded and uploaded onto the Members’ page (log-in required).

*Membership of ASSC:
- ASSC Members can attend our Talks free of charge
- Non-members can attend our Talks for a fee of £25 including VAT per Talk. Should you wish to join as an ASSC member, the £25 Talk fee will be discounted from your membership. Various membership category options are available with discounts throughout the year. There is currently 50% discount off the subscription fee.
